Penjualan Honda City Hatchback RS Tunjukkan Tren Positif – Peran Jazz sebagai hatchback andalan PT Honda Prospect Motor (HPM) tergantikan usai City Hatchback RS yang meluncur pada Maret 2021 lalu.
Namun setelah beberapa bulan diluncurkan, Honda City Hatchback RS sudah meraih hasil penjualan positif, bahkan hampir mencapai ribuan unit.
“Penjualan Honda City Hatchback RS sampai Agustus ini tetap baik meskipun pada Juli lalu permintaanya sempat menurun jika dibanding Juni 2021. Alasannya karena ada PPKM dan faktor lainnya,” papar Yusak Billy, Business Innovation and Sales & Marketing Director HPM saat konferensi pers virtual beberapa waktu lalu.
“Sejak launching pada Maret tahun ini, City Hatchback RS berhasil terjual 971 unit hingga Juli 2021 lalu. Jumlah ini sudah sesuai ekspektasi kami,” lanjutnya.
Billy pun berharap, tren penjualan dari rival Toyota Yaris GR Sport ini tetap positif saat memasuki semester kedua tahun ini.
“Agustus ini penjualan Honda City Hatchback RS sudah meningkat kembali dan lebih baik jika dibandingkan dengan Juni,” jelas Billy.
“Selain itu dengan perpanjangan insentif PPnBM (Pajak Penjualan atas Barang Mewah) 100 persen hingga Agustus 2021, diharap bisa lebih menarik minat konsumen dalam penjualan City Hatchback RS,” sambungnya.
Saat ditanya mengenai tanggapan komunitas soal Honda Jazz yang sudah stop produksi, Billy meminta konsumennya bisa mengalihkan pandangannya ke City Hatchback RS.
“Dari sebelum City Hatchback RS launching, kami sudah umumkan jika Jazz itu tidak lagi kami pasarkan. Jadi harusnya komunitas sudah bisa move on dari Honda Jazz,” tutupnya
Sekadar informasi, Honda City Hatchback RS dipasarkan dengan enam pilihan warna yaitu Phoenix Orange Pearl, Rallye Red, Crystal Black Pearl, Lunar Silver Metallic, Platinum White Pearl, hingga varian warna terbaru Meteoroid Gray Metallic.
Soal dapur pacunya, Honda City Hatchback RS dilengkapi mesin berkapasitas 1.500 cc 4-silinder segaris DOHC 16 katup i-VTEC + Drive by Wire.
Mesin tersebut diklaim dapat mengeluarkan tenaga maksimal hingga 121 dk di 6.600 rpm dan torsi 145 Nm di 4.300 rpm.
