Honda Donasikan 200 Unit Konsentrator Oksigen – Pandemi Covid-19 saat ini belom tahu kapan akan berakhir.
Dalam rangka percepatan penanganan virus Covid-19 di Indonesia, Honda menyumbangkan 200 unit konsentrator oksigen kepada Kementrian Perindustrian Republik Indonesia.
Konsentrator oksigen tersebut merupakan sumbangan dari 3 perusahaan afiliasi Honda di Indonesia yang terdiri dari PT Honda Prospect Motor (HPM), PT Honda Precision Parts Manufacturing (HPPM) dan PT Honda Trading Indonesia (HTI).
Seremoni penyerahan simbolis perangkat konsentrator oksigen dilaksanakan dalam acara virtual yang diselenggarakan oleh Kementrian Perindustrian Republik Indonesia pada 20 Agustus 2021.
Acara tersebut dihadiri oleh Bapak Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita sebagai Menteri Perindustrian Republik Indonesia, beserta jajaran pejabat Kementrian Perindustrian lainnya serta perwakilan dari perusahaan-perusahaan yang berpartisipasi.
Selain konsentrator oksigen, donasi yang diserahkan kepada Kementrian Perindustrian pada acara ini juga meliputi tabung oksigen, oksigen cair, obat-obatan dan alat medis lainnya yang berasal dari 28 perusahaan dan 6 asosiasi industri di Indonesia.
“Kami mengucapkan terima kasih kepada pelaku industri yang telah mengulurkan bantuan kemanusiaan dalam penanganan Covid-19 di Indonesia,”
“Bantuan oksigen konsentrator pasti akan memberikan manfaat bagi daerah-daerah yang membutuhkan,”
“Aksi kepedulian dari sektor industri ini menghadirkan wajah dan watak industri yang patriotik dan inklusif,” beber Agus Gumiwang, Menteri Perindustrian Republik Indonesia.
Kementrian Perindustrian sampai saat ini telah menyalurkan sebagian dari konsentrator oksigen kepada Pusat Krisis Kementrian Kesehatan dan sebagian telah didistribusikan langsung dengan memprioritaskan kebutuhan medis di daerah-daerah yang membutuhkan di luar pulau Jawa dan Bali.
Konsentrator oksigen ini terutama sangat membantu di daerah-daerah yang tidak memiliki produsen oksigen atau jauh dari jalur distribusi oksigen.
“Sumbangan ini merupakan komitmen Honda untuk mendukung upaya pemerintah Indonesia dalam penanganan virus Covid-19,”
“Sebagai bagian dari masyarakat Indonesia, kami berharap sumbangan ini dapat bermanfaat bagi layanan kesehatan di daerah yang membutuhkan, sekaligus mendorong percepatan pemulihan ekonomi nasional”, ujar Takehiro Watanabe selaku President Director PT Honda Prospect Motor.
Konsentrator oksigen merupakan alat yang digunakan untuk menyaring udara pada ruangan dan mengubahnya menjadi oksigen murni dengan kadar hingga 93%.
Alat ini dapat digunakan untuk para pasien yang membutuhkan perawatan intensif di rumah sakit ataupun unit kesehatan di berbagai daerah.
PT Honda Precision Parts Manufacturing (HPPM) merupakan perusahaan manufaktur yang memproduksi komponen untuk kendaraan roda empat sebagai pasokan untuk pabrik-pabrik Honda di seluruh dunia.
